Takradhara
Takra Dhara is an ancient treatment where medicated buttermilk is poured over the head in a rhythmic mater. This stabilises the mind, calms the nervous system and the herbs penetrate deep into the brain. Very relaxing and transcendent treatment.
Udwarthanam
Udwarthanam is the name of a therapeutic treatment that involves massing the body with a herbal powder. Specifically designed for weight loss, cellulite & water retention. It is also good for sluggish lymphatic flow and low immune system strength.
Janu Basti
The word “Basti” in Ayurveda means “to hold” and or “oil application”. Basti cleanses the accumulated toxins from the body, rebalancing the whole constitution. Hot oil treatment for knee ailment deeply relaxes stiff and tight muscles, nourishes the nerves, ligaments, tendons and strengthens the knees.
Navar Kizzi Bolus
Navara Kizzi is a specialised massage treatment, using a variety of rice that has medicinal properties. The rice is cooked in a milk decoction and made in pouches (bolus), which are then dipped in a heated milk decoction and used to massage the body.
Netra basti
Netra Vasti is a special ayurvedic therapy where the Netra (eyes) are covered with a pool of medicated ghee (clarified butter). Throughout the treatment the patient is to open and close the eyes.
Karna Purna
Karna Purana is an Ayurvedic therapy wherein the ears are filled with herbo-mineral oils that lubricate the delicate filaments of the ear canal, remove impurities, and improve hearing capacity. Karna means “ear” and Purana denotes “filling” or “pouring”.
